Prayer & Fasting is a time where we intentionally seek God every day in prayer as we believe for Him to move in powerful ways.
PRAYER
Let us know how we can agree with you in prayer during this season by submitting a prayer request.
What is Prayer?
Prayer is not a last resort. It's a first response.
- Pastor John Breland
Real relationship requires real intimacy. God is close. He is near. He is constant. Prayer produces intimacy. It positions our hearts to learn from our Father, to lean on Him, to be strengthened by His presence. Prayer is the language of our faith, bringing vision to what is not yet seen.
What is Fasting?
Fasting is the act of choosing to abstain for a period of time. The ultimate aim of fasting is to get in touch with our hunger for God. Hunger is the state of wanting or needing something you do not have. When we fast, we awaken our body and soul to its deep yearning for life with the Father.
When we fast, we are practicing spiritual discipline by sacrificing one of our most essential daily routines.
